Who We Are

We are a church for All people. We are a band of misfits chasing after Jesus together, so if you consider yourself to be perfect.. you might want to try a different church.

We are a multi-generational and multi-cultural church in a small town 10 miles south of Waterloo. Our stories are all different but have brought us here to this family at Heartland. We seek, ask questions, struggle, support, encourage, experience, worship, and just do life  together.

We love serving and meeting needs of others in our community, and when it comes down to it we're just a bunch of imperfect people striving to figure out life while following Christ together.

Our History
We have a long history over 127 years!!
One would think a church that old would have it all figured out. We are continuing to learn what it means to live out grace and truth in the world.
​So if you don't have your life together and just want to feel like part of a family, come to Heartland and we will welcome you with open arms.
